Stephen Nancarrow has worked with the BBC Watchdog team on the following
programmes:

The UK's Worst New Home

Stephen joined the team around the UK to check out and judge the UK's Worst New
Home and show them what defects really existed in the new homes they had finalised.
The winner was George Wimpey.


BBC1 Watchdog

Stephen Nancarrow our MD was asked by Watchdog to join them on a visit to
Weston Super Mare to investigate problems some homeowners had with their
Westbury Homes, in particular their roof tiles. In all of the properties he checked, he
discovered that the roof tiles were not fixed down correctly.

Tonight with Trevor McDonald

Stephen Nancarrow was approached by the Tonight team in February 2005 to assist then with a programme regarding problems with new homes.

Steve appeared on the show along with Tim Spear one of our clients who is experiencing problems with his developer and the NHBC and an update on their situation and how it progresses may be filmed later this year.

Radio4 You & Yours

One of the presenters from Radio 4 You & Yours accompanied Steve during a site visit to discover the true extent of defects in new homes. They were shocked to discover the reality - to hear this programme please click here.

Justin and Sarah Gardner contacted Inspector Home after 18 months of dealing with
Bryant Homes, trying to rectify the defects in their new home. Inspector Home found
176 defects and are in the process of assisting the Gardner family in their negotiations
with Bryant Homes as part of our free After Care service.

Vanessa Ambler appeared on GMTV with John Stapleton to discuss the case and to give
advice on Thursday 18th June. With the aid of Inspector Home this story also appeared
in the Oxford Mail, BBC Oxford, and Central TV News.
