Inspector Home inspected Mr Biddlecombe's Hetfordshire home, and found 82 faults with his 4 bedroom house. Inspector Home assisted Mr Biddlecombe with negotiations with his developer, as shown below:

"Dear Mr Nancarrow

I was delighted to hear from Rachel today that XXX Homes have agreed to undertake all the brickwork ‘faults’ raised in your survey of my home.

As you know numerous internal snagging faults were also listed in the survey. xxx Homes have now completed the vast majority of them and the house looks much better for it. A few items I chose to leave to be dealt with by myself in due course!

I feel I must place on record how very pleased I have been with Inspector Home and the service you offer residents of new houses. Everybody has been extremely courteous and helpful at all times and the follow up procedure has worked a treat. The cost of the survey was very reasonable and has proved to be money very well spent.

As you know I have recommended your service to friends and neighbours. I know several have already sought your help to ensure their properties are up to an acceptable standard before the builders two year liability runs out.
